Farmers Mr and Mrs Chapman needed to replace the existing electric fencing – which was over ten years old – on their sheep and cattle farm in Inkberrow, Worcestershire.
The Chapmans needed 3,000m of long-lasting fencing which would require as little maintenance as possible.
Tornado’s HT8/80/15 and Titan Barb was selected for the project because its high-quality specification met the Chapman’s requirements – the high tensile steel will not require re-tightening, saving time and money for the customer.
Two strands of barbed wire over the HT8/80/15 will help contain the sheep and cattle safely.
The first 1,000m of the project had been completed in November 2012, with the remainder completed in November 2013.
The completed fencing, installed very competently and professionally by contractor Ian Snape, has delighted Mr and Mrs Chapman.
Not only is their new, long-lasting Tornado fencing far neater and more aesthetically pleasing than the previous electric fencing, they no longer need to walk the length of the fence every week to check the electric current.
Their livestock is safely and easily contained by a great looking and low-maintenance finished product.
