Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is one of the newest tourist attractions in South Yorkshire. Occupying 70 acres, the site provides a unique view into the world of animals, with walkthrough areas, including the Lemur Woods and Wallaby Walkabout.

Home to the most endangered carnivore in Africa, the Painted Hunted Dog, the popular attraction was voted Yorkshire’s Most Magnificent Attraction in 2012. The park owners contacted us as they needed to replace the existing traditional chain link fencing around a number of enclosures with a bespoke solution.

A fence utilising the Titan knot, with continuous stay wires was recommended to provide maximum security. More than 170 rolls of fencing were needed to deliver this particular project.

We have provided the park with fencing that is the first of its type in the world. It is strong enough to contain a diverse mix of animals and provides the right amount of visibility for park visitors.
