Producing a safe, secure fence is an essential part of every successful Ostrich farm; also a requirement that must be satisfied before a local authority will issue a licence. Tornado Ostrich fencing is strong, flexible and resilient; if the fence is hit by a bird it will simply spring back to shape.
The unique 8cm spacing of the stay wires prevents the Ostrich from pushing its head or feet through the wire or trapping toe nails. The fence is 1.53 metres in height, but with a recommended 30cm escape gap at the bottom the fence will be extended to 1.83 metres high when erected.
