Tornado launches its latest innovation - TORUS

Leading UK fencing company Tornado launched its latest innovation, TORUS, at this year's Royal Cornwall Show (7 - 9 June 2012)

Marking a significant investment in machinery and the creation of several jobs across all three Tornado sites, Torus utilises cutting edge technology to bring the latest advancement in fence design.

The new product incorporates continuous horizontal and vertical wires, joined with a high-pressure bonded knot, which provides four-way movement resistance.  This Quad-Lock design makes Torus ideal for even the most extreme environments, and with   mesh sizes as small as 50mm x 50mm it can be used for any agricultural, infrastructure or equestrian application.

Speaking about the launch, Tornado's managing director, Kenny Campbell comments:  "We've led innovation in the industry since the 70s when we introduced high tensile fencing to the UK. And our new Torus design goes even further. As well as being incredibly strong, the Torus knot is small and unobtrusive and the small mesh sizes create a wide range of new product options.

As with all Tornado products, Torus undergoes no fewer than 14 rigorous tests and inspections and is manufactured to BS EN 10223 standards to ensure the best quality fence possible.
