Tornado launches a new range of wooden gates

Established fencing manufacturer Tornado Wire Ltd has launched a new range of wooden gates in support of a humanitarian aid project.

Tornados' new range of wooden gates is helping to raise funds for a humanitarian aid project in Europe. The funds raised are used to help educate local inhabitants to assist them to obtain work and therefore improve their standard of living. The charity plays an active role in improving the lifestyle of people in disadvantaged areas by establishing vital and profitable businesses, with participants encouraged to invest 1-2 days a month in orphanages and care homes.

The project has also funded many improvements in orphanages and prisons, with investment in health, education and building maintenance as well as the supply of clothing and toys.

The Glen wooden gates are a cleverly designed universal gate which is manufactured from high quality pine. Heavy duty hanging and slamming stiles and double bracing allow the gates to be hung on either side, with stainless steel fixings and a range of complementary fittings completing these high quality gates.
